How Literate is Chicago, Really? →
A 2010 study from Central Connecticut State University that ranks America’s most literate cities puts Chicago at No. 28. Though our ranking has steadily risen over the last five years, from a low of 46th place in 2005, literate Chicagoans can’t help but feel a bit perplexed at this news, especially in noting the cities that beat us out: among them, Cleveland, Tulsa, and Lincoln, NE.
